New Dragon Quest XI Details Have Emerged In A New Jump Scan

New Dragon Quest XI Details Have Emerged In A New Jump Scan

New Dragon Quest XI details have emerged in a new Jump scan. The newest issue of Weekly Jump provides new information about two of the game’s characters, Martina and Row as well as info about a town called Grotta.

Martina is considered to beautiful & elegant and seemingly has the desire to travel around the world. She has charm type skill called Sexy Beam which causes monsters to fall in love with her. Other skills she can use include Witch Nail, Miracle Moon, & Hell Spark which are a claw skill, melee skill, and a spear skill which uses lightning/thunder to damage enemies.

Meanwhile, Row looks like someone who travels but is mysterious at the same time. He can use both magic and martial arts. Three of his spells were named in this issue, Kacrackle, Kazam, & Kazing (the latter of which can be used to revive your party members). In addition to the spells, Jump provides info about some of Row’s skills. He has one called called Revival Staff which as the name implies can be used to bring party members back to life. Another skill is named Baptism of Zero which works kind of like a purge type of skill. It removes buffs from enemies. Like Martina, Row also has a claw skill, but his is called Liger Slash and mixes both magic & physical damage into the ability.

As for the town, Grotta, it is a northern town in Lotozetasia. Grotta is holding a tournament called the Masked Fighters Tournament. The town also is home to an arena & a statue of General Greig who was a previous tournament winner.

Dragon Quest XI: In Search of Departed Time is scheduled to be released in Japan for PlayStation 4 and 3DS on July 29th. The game is also planned for Switch but no info, screens, videos, scans, date, etc. have been shown/announced.
