A New Hidden Area Has Been Discovered By Wall Clipping In The Breath Of The Wild DLC

A new hidden area has been discovered by wall clipping in the Breath of the Wild DLC. Redditor sharkystheshotty was playing the Master Trials portion of the new DLC and that is when he glitched into this seemingly half-finished area. He wasn’t quite sure how it happened but this is what he said regarding what was he was doing when the clip occurred:

“Was on trial three on the Medium trials and flew up near the chest on the floating platform and just went through a wall. Couldn’t get back in.. so I didn’t make it. I don’t really remember exactly where but I flew up with my glider on trial 3 on the Medium trials near where the floating chest was on the wall by the corner. Best I can do.”

He doesn’t specify whether he did this in the Switch version or Wii U version of the game, but given that he posted this on the Switch Reddit, it appears more likely that he was playing the Switch version.

While this hidden section is interesting, it’s not uncommon for developers to leave partially finished areas in a game’s code. It’s possible this could’ve been leftover from the original game, this current DLC, or perhaps the DLC which is due out later this year. Either way, it’s something kind of neat to see and wander around in if you’re able to duplicate the results.

Here’s some more images of this glitched area in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
