New screenshots for Call of Duty: WWII were shown at Gamescom this week by Sledgehammer Games and Activision. Call of Duty: WWII is set to be released on PS4, Xbox One, & PC on November 3rd.

Monolith Productions & Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have released new concept art & screenshots for Middle-earth: Shadow of War during this week’s Gamescom event in Germany. Middle-earth: Shadow of War is scheduled to be released on PS4, Xbox One, & PC on October 10th. A mobile release is planned for Android & iOS devices as well.

Europe Is Getting A Special Gran Turismo Sport PlayStation 4

Europe is getting a special Gran Turismo Sport PlayStation 4. The limited edition system will come with the Day 1 Edition of Gran Turismo Sport, a silver GT DualShock 4 controller, and of course the system itself, which is a 1 TB console in a silver color scheme with the GT logo. Sony will also be releasing a standalone limited edition DualShock 4 controller and a version that is bundled with the game (without the console).

Four new Jet Black PS4 SKUs were also announced. Europe will be getting:

  • Jet Black PS4 1 TB edition
  • Jet Black PS4 500GB edition
  • Jet Black PS4 1TB + extra Jet Black DualShock 4 edition
  • Jet Black PS4 Pro edition

Here’s another Gamescom trailer for your viewing pleasure. This one is for Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Origins, the latest game in the long-running action-adventure series. Assassin’s Creed Origins is coming to PS4, Xbox One, & PC on October 27th.

Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown

Bandai Namco released another trailer at this year’s Gamescom event. This one is for Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown, the first Ace Combat game for PS4 & Xbox One. It’ll also be released on PC. The only release date given so far is 2018, so it remains to be seen when that’ll be. Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown will have exclusive missions for PS VR and will also include two-player local multiplayer.

A new trailer from Gamescom 2017 has been released for Dragon Ball FighterZ. The game is scheduled to be released on PS4, Xbox One, & PC in February 2018.

Bleed – Launch Trailer

Bleed

Bleed, the multi-platform platforming game from BootdiskRevolution & Digerati Distribution is now available on PS4 and Sony has shared the launch trailer for the game. Bleed has had previous releases on Xbox 360, PC, Mac, & Linux. A Xbox One version is due out this Thursday, August 24th.

Far Cry 5 – Extended Gameplay Walkthrough Video

Sony has shared an extended gameplay walkthrough video for Far Cry 5 over on the PlayStation EU YouTube channel. Far Cry 5 will be set in the United States as the video shows footage from Hope County, Montana. Players will have to work to free a community in the game while making use of the most customizable weapons & vehicles there’s ever been in a Far Cry game. It’s set to be be released on February 27th, 2018 for PS4, Xbox One, & PC.

Sony, Grip Games, & Teotl Studios have revealed an announcement trailer for The Solus Project, an upcoming first-person survival adventure game. The Solus Project is coming to PS4 & PS VR, on September 18th. It’s already available for Xbox One & PC.

PS4 System Software 5.00 Beta Is Now Available

The PS4 System Software 5.00 beta is now available for people who were selected for the beta according to a post Sony made today on the PlayStation Blog. You should’ve received an e-mail with info on how to get the beta if you signed up and were selected.

As we previously reported, the update will feature changes to the way master/sub-accounts work, broadcast changes, notification changes, and more. Check out that article for more details or head over to the PlayStation Blog below.
