Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Nintendo Switch

A Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Nintendo Switch release has been announced by Bandai Namco. The Switch version will support motion controls via the system’s Joy-Con controllers. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is scheduled to be released for Switch in North America and Europe on September 22nd. As part of the announcement, Bandai Namco also released the box art for the game (which you can see above), along with several new screenshots, which are below.

Other features of the Switch version include play control methods that utilize the system’s unique features such as being able to perform the Kamehameha and Spirit Bomb with the Joy-Con’s motion controls. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will support up to 6 players for local multiplayer, but each player will need their own Switch system. You can also use individual Joy-Con to play two-players locally. The game’s story will feature time traveling and historic moments in the Dragon Ball series. And in comparison to the prior game, the sequel will have a more robust create-an-avatar system and changes to how battles work.
